HABIT AND MOTIVATION

Wikipedia defines a habit as a routine of behavior that is repeated regularly and tends to occur subconsciously. An example of this, those some teens they just started with a small sip amount of liquor and then by frequently drinking he will eventually become an inebriated (slightly more formal term than drunkard). And in psychology, a habit, any regularly repeated behavior that requires little or no thought and is learned rather than innate. So by that definition, it is clearly stated that success or dreams or whatever you want in life are achievable and it will start from the term ” habit.”

But not just that easy, it requires enough motivation, discipline and determination. According to Jim Rohn, “motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.” To continue what we are doing we must be motivated because habit alone is difficult if we don’t have the fuel that generates our mind to keep going. Meaning, habit is the vehicle and motivation is the fuel that makes the vehicle run, so, the two must go hand in hand.

I love blogging and photography, so I tell myself, get up and do something it’s been how many years of dreaming, it’s time to wake up and make it happen. I know it’s not too late, so now, I make it a habit to write twice a week. And I will stand on my dreams, and I will make it my motivation.

To God be the glory.
