Don’t let what’s happening around you get inside you

The Power of Words

I want to share another story a very well known tale I know everyone already knew this, and I just want to reshare this just to remind that our words are extremely powerful and we must need to understand that the moment our words leave our mouth they are no longer ours, and we have to be accountable.

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence.

Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally, the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it, and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed, and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son to the fence, and he said, “You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same.

When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, and the wound is still there.”

When we say a word we give life to it and those words will live in a person’s heart, and whatever it is it depends on what kind of words you put on them it may impact to their lives, or it may ruin them.

According to Mohammed Qahtani, “Words have power, words are power and words could be your power, you can change a life, inspire a nation and make the world a beautiful place.” So now choose the right words and make sure you taste it first before you spit it out. Remember, we cannot live a positive life with a negative mouth.

To God be the glory.

The hidden beauty

Tanza, Estancia, Iloilo Philippines

Beautiful isn’t it? When I showed this picture to my workmates, they don’t believe because they don’t see the beauty of that place. I told them that they never appreciate it because they see it at their eye level. I don’t see it either, in the first place but when I went to the mountain and took the picture from there, I see the different view a beautiful view.

Same as life when we do not look it at a higher level of thinking we do not see the real beauty of it. Try to elevate your thinking, try to widen your perspective, and you will see the real value of it.

Quit relying on people

I love what Joel Osteen said about people, they are like a scaffolding that somehow will be removed in your life for some reason, God is taking you to the next level.

Not everyone that is with you by now may not be able to go where you are going. Some people are like scaffolding, they come into your life for a reason to help you reach a certain level. But at some point, God is going to remove the scaffoldings so you can shine. It is not that they are not good people, but their part in your story is over. God’s taking you to a higher level. Quit being frustrated by somebody that is not supporting you like they used to. We spend too much time trying to get people’s approval, trying to get them to validate us, then we’ll feel good about ourselves. The problem with getting your validation from people is, people can change their mind.

One moment, people were shouting “Hosanna” waving palms branches. A few days later those same people were shouting “Crucify Him.” People can have a short memory, and if you are getting your value based on what people give you, how much they compliment you. Then, if for some reason, they stop doing that, you’ll forget who you are, your self-worth is coming from them. Quit relying on people and go to God. You do not need people’s approval you have God’s permission.

The Scripture says in Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.” As you learn to let go and let God, you will enjoy your life more and become everything He has created you to be!  https://www.JoelOsteen.com/Messages

Everything Has Beauty, But Not Everyone Sees It

People readily appreciate pictures, but they failed to recognize the natural one which is in front of their eyes. Why? What is the difference between camera and eyes? The camera has the tools to enhance pictures; that is why it looks beautiful and colorful. So, what enhancement do people need?

We see things clearly but failed to see its beauty. According to Confucius, ”Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.” So, perhaps we need to enhance our mind and imagination and look at the things from a new perspective. Moreover, in that way, we can appreciate the beauty of everything.

Passion- From Latin ‘Pati’ meaning Suffer

These past few days I am struggling what to write because of the hectic schedule, I don’t have time to think, and I don’t have the time to play my favorite online games. During the weekend the only time to be alone with books and a cup of coffee but it doesn’t happen because there is something which is needed to be done. But my mind said you need to write. You need to do something follow your passion do not let the busy day stop you from what you want.

The process is hard, but if you love what you do, you always find ways, if that your passion you must go for it. The essential philosophy of passion is something you would be willing to sacrifice, and it takes a lot of hard work because if you are not willing to go pain and challenges meaning that is not your passion. According to Francis Kong, “we don’t get a result through an event, to get a good result you need process and process takes time.”

I wanna share a story posted by Narinder, a short and a beautiful story about the power of passion.

The story is told that a dispassionate young man approached the Greek philosopher Socrates and casually stated, “O great Socrates, I come to you for knowledge.”

The philosopher took the young man down to the sea, waded in with him, and then dunked him under the water for thirty seconds. When he let the young man up for air, Socrates asked him to repeat what he wanted.

Knowledge, only O great one,” he sputtered. Socrates put him under the water again, only that this time it was a little longer. After repeated dunking and responses, the philosopher asked, “what do you want”? The young man finally gasped, “Air; I want air!”

“Good,” answered Socrates. “Now, when you want knowledge as much as you wanted air, you shall have it.”

The are no two ways about it. If you want anything badly enough, you can find the willpower to achieve it. The only way to have that kind of desire and willpower is to develop passion.

Yes, I Do and Goodbye

In 2009, she said yes, and I left my world and she became my world. In 2015, she said I do, and she was the only world I knew. However, in 2017, she said goodbye, and kicked me out of her world and left me nowhere. I do not know where to start, I do not know how to start building my world once again. I am like a child crying in the midst of the night longing for my mother’s closeness and love because I am afraid, I am afraid because I am alone. But my family was stronger than my emotion, they showed me the world that full of love and they told me; Don’t worry my dear we are here to carry you because we are stronger than the world who once you’ve known. That the moment I realized that I need to stand up and put my armors back, and this time much stronger inside.

There are so many questions about forever, is it really exist? Some say forever is just a word and it appears only in the dictionary, not in real life but for me, I do not know, I do not let my experience define it. Well, that is the mindset of people who experienced pain in their past. Some stayed single because they are frightened to fall again and some stayed the same because for them they have only one love so they never tried to find another. However, some are brave enough they tried again and again because for them you cannot find the true love if you stop, you may rest for a while if you are tired but do not stop trying.

A person who destined to you do not just pass by, he/she will go through you. That is why it is called destiny. The question is, how can you say that he/she is the one who destined to you? How I wish, that everyone who passes our lives bearing our names so we will know that we truly found the one.

Do you know what you really need in life?

According to John Mason, “If you look at life the wrong way there is always cause for alarm, what you see depends mainly on what you look for. Most people complain because roses have thorns, instead, be thankful that thorns have roses.” I want to share another story from Brother Bo Sanchez, a very inspiring story that reminds us that life itself is a blessing.

Once upon a time, there was a grandmother sitting in a chair on the beach with her grandson and she was doing her cross-stitch looking at her lovely grandson with a shovel, a little shovel with a little hat near the water playing and having fun. The grandmother was just looking at her grandson while doing her cross-stitch, when all of the sudden, a tsunami a tidal wave a giant tidal wave coming rushing towards them. Before she could scream, before she could say my, my grandson the tidal wave crashed onto her little boy and went up. When the water receded back into the sea the little boy was gone, and the grandmother stood up and throw her cross-stitch into the sand looked at the sky and threw her fist unto God and said, Lord, I pray every day, go to mass regularly and I am a good woman! Bring back, my little boy! Lo and behold another giant tidal wave comes rushing towards her and crushes right in front of her and when the water pulls back into the sea the little boy was there again, all wet and dizzy but was there again. You know what the woman did? She could not speak, she could not say anything and all of the sudden, she frowned, she spouted and she said; Lord a while ago my little boy was wearing a hat! Where is his hat!

A very funny story and yet very true, instead of being grateful in everything we have but still we always looked at the missing part. Instead of being thankful that we have life, we can talk, we can walk, we can breathe, we can write, we can think, we have a job, we have a family, we are in good health and we have money, not plenty but can provide our needs. You see? God provides everything because He really knows what exactly our needs, everything is intact. What we really need is contentment. Instead of asking something why don’t we start praying and helping someone who is in need. Shakespeare once said: I cried when I had no shoes, but I stopped crying when I saw a man without legs. Life is full of blessings, sometimes we don’t value it.
